Dr. Goedele De Clerck is a Postdoctoral Fellow of the Research Foundation-Flanders at Ghent University, Belgium (Political & Social Sciences, Centre for Local Politics).

Her studies focus on equal opportunities for deaf people, diversity, and sustainable development of sign language communities.

She is a visiting scholar at the University of Manchester (United Kingdom) and at Kyambogo University (Uganda).
